Machined
Components out of
Castings, Forgings and Bar-stock
Over
the past decades, we have manufactured more than 3,000 different
precision Machined Components
for various applications, some of which are very critical in nature.
This involves maintaining high tolerances along with parameters
like surface finish, flatness, roundness and cylindricity.
We
have also successfully developed cost effective and simple solutions
to critical subassemblies through innovation in machining and
assembly.
We
are very familiar with raw materials including sand castings,
shell moulded castings, investment castings, die castings, forgings
and bar-stock out of a variety of materials ranging from Grey
Iron, Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel to Aluminum, Brass, High Alloy
Steels, and Low Carbon Steels.
We
can provide you with fully Machined Sand
Castings in Grey Iron in a variety of grades including
I.S. 210: Grade FG-150, 200, 220, 260, 300 and 350 with additions
of alloys wherever required and equivalent to other international
standards.
We
can also supply Sand Castings in Spheroidal Graphite Iron or Ductile
Iron in a variety of grades including I.S. 1865: Grades 400/10,
400/15, 500/7, 600/3, 700/2 and equivalent to other international
standards like DIN, EN, ASTM, etc.
These
castings can be used in a variety of applications including Machined
Tools, Pumps, Valves, Gear Boxes, Compressors, Oilfield Components
and other General Engineering fields.
We
can also provide you with fully Machined
Shell Mold Castings, this process offers better surface
finish and better dimensional tolerances on the casting. A heated
metal pattern is covered with a mixture of sand and thermo set
plastic. This causes a skin of about 0.125 inches of sand / plastic
mixture to adhere to the pattern. This skin is removed from the
pattern to form the Shell Mold. This process can produce
complex part with good surface finish and dimensional tolerance.
As
another alternative to Sand and Shell Mold Castings, we provide
fully Machined Investment Castings
for Pumps, Actuators, Valves, Pumps Impellors and General
Engineering. Precision Investment castings by Lost Wax Process
in a variety of materials including Stainless Steel, Heat Resistant
Steel, Corrosion Resistant Steel, Tool Steel, Brass, Bronze and
Aluminium alloys, This process is accepted world wide as one of
the most efficient and economical manufacturing technology for
precision and intricately shaped parts. Key advantages included
intricacy in shapes, close dimensional tolerances which eliminates
most machining, superior surface finish, closer control of metallurgical
characteristics and wider range of Alloys Ferrous and Non-Ferrous.
Main stages of the lost wax process include Injection of
the wax into the dies, assembly of the patterns into a casting
unit (Tree), covering of trees with refractory material (Shelling),
dewaxing and sintering of shells, pouring of required metal into
shells and finally removal Ceramic shells and heat treatment.
Surface treatments like pickling, passivating, mechanical and
electro polishing, hot dip galvanizing etc. are also conducted.
We
provide a full range of Heat Treated and Machined Forgings and
Assemblies. Materials include Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless
Steel, Die Steel and Hot and Cold working Tool Steel. Industries
served include Machine Tools, Oilfield, Gear and other General
Engineering.
